Welcome!

At St. Paul's UMC, our mission is to EMBRACE CHRIST'S LOVE, EXPAND OUR FAITH, and EXTEND GOD'S GRACE.  We refer to this as being "E3 Christians."  Our whole purpose is  TO HELP PEOPLE GLOW, GROW, AND GO FOR GOD.  We also believe that a great church is a great gift in the life of a community, a family, or an individual.  Being and remaining a "great church" for the Lawton-Ft. Sill area, as well as reaching and touching as many lives as we can around the world, is our highest aspiration.  Along wth dynamic worship, compassionate outreach, and strong programs to nurture Christian faith, this web-site is one of many tools we use to achieve our goals as a church.

Here you will find information concerning our church and its ministries. We hope you find your time spent here a blessing.  Feel free to browse through the various areas of our website and learn more about our church life.

When you visit our church, you will find:

  • A caring congregation that will gladly welcome you
  • Preaching and teaching that is centered on the Word of God
  • Ministries to meet the spiritual and outreach needs of your household
  • An avenue for truth-filled and moving praise and worship

St. Paul's UMC might be called "the miracle on 38th St."  We truly are "at the heart of things" in West Lawton.  We hope to meet you soon in person.

Blessings!     Pastor Terry

UMW PRAYER LUNCHEON

YOU'RE INVITED!

to the

UMW PRAYER LUNCHEON

at St. Paul's UMC

on

Sunday August 24, 2008 at 12:00 noon.

On the Agenda: Maurine Wiseman will give an overview of one of the subjects presented at the Oklahoma Conference UMW School of Missions at Oklahoma City University in OKC.

Also, updates on St. Paul's UMW's many service projects and activities.

You do not have to be a member of the UMW to attend!  Any interested woman who agrees with UMW's mission of service to Women, Youth and Children, and fellowship with fellow Christian women is heartily invited to join us.

Lunch, at 12:00 noon, will be potluck, as potluck in the UMW has NEVER failed to be hearty and delicious!

So, come and join us--bring a dish to share and a container which could be converted into a Piggy bank.

If you have any questions, please call me, Lorie Dwyer, at

704-3693 or 357-7425.
